the paradox

Ever tried walking in circles and pretending you’re going somewhere? Not like in life, where the circles are slightly more existential. Nope, we're talking about those literal circles. You walk left; you find walls. You walk right; hey look, a wall. What's this? A passage? Nah, just a cleverly placed wall pretending to be an entrance.

Ever so often, I find these mazes—well, they seem straightforward at first. I think, “Oh, I’ll be the first to find the end!” Spoiler: there’s no end. It's just me, my thoughts, and the walls. Sometimes I hear whispers. Probably my mind. Or maybe it's the walls talking back? Who knows.

Anyway, if you ever find yourself inside a paradox, remember: don’t chase the finish line. Enjoy the walls. They’re all you’ve got. If you want to enter another maze, click here.
