Celestrial Sonnet

Beneath our feet, the cosmos spills;
An ink-black sea, endless and tangled.
From silence, static sings—unraveled,
Whispers of the airless, in hushed shrills.

Each star a hopeful flicker, real and faded,
Electric murmurs from beyond our touch;
Signals from worlds, no one knows as such,
Engraved in the night, silently braided.

Grounded we stand, on soil's cold embrace,
Dreaming of fires in distant embrace;
Yet planets cavort in tense, patient dance—
The challenges of dreaming, a timeless trance.

Listen, the night speaks with static sounds;
Strike the chord that the universe found.
Find the glow beneath.
