Silent Sonatas
Once upon a twinkling night,
A star hummed a gentle goodbye,
Flickering like a candle's soft sigh.
It said, "Do you hear my song? Oh, little stars listen close, for my light is dimming."
"I painted the sky daffodil and indigo,"
sang the star in its golden voice,
whispering secrets of light and joy.
"Soon, little stars," the star whispered, "I will ride the rainbow slide to the great cosmic playground. Please, remember my glow."
Then, it winked its last twinkle,
leaving behind echoes of its melody,
a silent sonata, forevermore.
