Once Upon the Deep

In the water, glasses of dream swims, they told the tales of what was above. Sky hungry, yet water was home.

The turtle named Quiet would float and wondered why the bubbles always laughed. No one told the bubbles, but they made no sense.

Diving deeper meant fewer lies, but the truth tickled and it was hard to keep face serious when it tickled.

Sometimes the gentle ogre came and played with stones, they touched the sun. They called him Dormant Light.

Stars don't swim but some believe they do in lullaby lies floating way over moonways.
