The Shadows Whisper

Beyond the stars, there lies a place,
Beneath the broken dreams of night.
Where shadows dance with playful grace,
And moonbeams sing soft songs of fright.

Mickey the Mouse found a candle,
It flickered strange tales ill to handle.
With whispers like winds, and giggles like cries,
He journeyed deep, under darkened skies.

In this place some children say,
The trees wear face masks night and day.
Masks that smile wide, eyes shaped like holes,
Hiding secrets that nobody knows.
