Whispers of Yesterday

Do you remember when we used to sit in that little corner café downtown? Just the two of us, nursing cups of lukewarm cocoa for hours, talking about everything and nothing? Those were simple times, yet they felt monumental in the moment. I still hear the soft clinking of cups and faint jazz playing in the background.

Occasionally, I'll catch a whiff of vanilla and cinnamon, and suddenly I'm back in that café with you, looking out the window at the rain-soaked street. The world felt so wide back then, full of wonders we were yet to discover. Sometimes it aches, missing those carefree days.
