Whisper Legends

Through the Secret Door

Beyond the door, was it sunshine
Or shadow's tender grasp?
In a world where secrets twirl
Like wisps of morning fog,

"Be careful," chirp the dragonflies,
Their wings laced with ancient hymns,
"For the meadow's dance hides thorns
Among the brighter blooms,"

The little door knocker whispered with joy:
"Enter and see what dances,"
But offered no comfort
When truth became dicey dice,
