Contemplations of Light

From my birth in the sky, a cherished and solitary cascade, I fell—a crystal bead of life. The journey began high above, where the sun's kiss painted the clouds in shimmering hues. I reflect upon light, for I am its most transient vessel, bearer of stories untold.

The Initial Descent

Descending through the ether, I met various companions: mist, vapor, and even the stubborn dust of the earth. Together we danced through the firmament, celebrating the light refracting through our forms. In this descent, I learned the fluidity of identity; I am not singular but part of an interconnected tapestry of elements.

Meeting the Ground

Upon reaching the ground, my journey continued differently. I joined rivers, puddles, or infiltrated the thirsty soil. Each encounter offers new perspectives on the nature of light. Briefly, I become a prism, scattering the hues, yet eventually absorbed, forgotten, or evaporated anew. Thus the cycle continues.

Contemplating Existence

As I linger on a leaf's edge, caught in the moment before gravity claims me, I contemplate existence through light's omnipresent gaze. It reveals the transient beauty of the world—the glimmer on a blade of grass, the sparkle in a wandering stream. Through light, I see time’s passage reflected in the eternal dance of illumination and shadow.
