Shining, twinkling, bright like candy
Mischief played around her rays
But shadows listened silently, unseen.

To tell the moon, the tale of fears
Rabbits danced beneath with glee
While wolves whispered, 'Run, don't see.'

Cycles wound like yarns on fingers
Tightly spun, into webs that linger
Children giggled in the night
While truth, hid, out of sight.
