Whimsy Sails

Have you ever seen a sailboat on a moonlit sea? There’s a rhyme to the waves and a whisper in the wind that says, "Everything will be alright." Or maybe it says, "Beware the shadows that dance beneath in the twilight." Either way, it invites curiosity.

Once, a sailor told me of his friend—a friend made of mist and memories. They'd sail under the stars, charting dreams and dodging the sleepy realms of forgotten stories. Wouldn't you want to meet a friend like that?

And what of the darker tales? The phantom whispers that call some to shores unseen. "Maybe someday," we say while we nibble on phantom cookies that never crumble because they’re just shadows on a plate.
