Starbound Sonnet

In dreams where constellations whisper lies,
The voyager brews stars in tempered night[^1].
Constellations carve their tales in skies,
As moonlit paths unveil the ancient rite.

Beyond the realms where cosmic waters flow,
A solitary ship drifts through the haze.
With tethered hopes and embers of earth's glow,
It sails through nebulas' celestial maze.

Footfalls on Mars' sun-kissed crimson sphere,
Echo of lost epics in a silent dome.
Here legends deepen, penned with fleeting tear,
In scripts of stardust, longing for their home.

Thus sings the heart, an everlasting tune,
To journey through the starbound night's commune[^2].
The soul, a compass in the cosmos' dance,
Awaits the dawn of every astral chance.
