"Do you ever find yourself staring into the abyss," she asked, "and wondering if there's someone else doing the same from another world? Like, maybe there's a parallel you, having an equally profound conversation with the void?"
I shrugged, the cold night air brushing against my skin like a gentle reminder of the reality surrounding us. "Guess it's possible," I replied, "but it's the kind of thought that makes your mind spiral. Best not to think too hard about it."
Somewhere between the stars and our endless chatter, I think we both found a sliver of understanding. Or at least, a moment of peace in the cosmic dance. If only every night could hold such clarity.
