Silhouettes Cast by Invisible Light

When they arrived, the world was draped in a faint glow. Above them, the sky tinkled with lines of digital hues, transient and elusive. Had this been the twilight of an age yet unnamed?
Amongst the hushed frequencies were whispers of shape and form, but nothing tangible with which to grasp their truths. Every footfall resounded with memories yet unmade, silhouetted by a luminescence too gentle to see.
It was here the shadows narrated stories of parts unplayed, in a language only the silence understood. Beneath these constellations of electric finesse, their figures danced; each movement echoed by the auroras painted on the invisible air.
