In the ancient city of Overly Gratefulness, the townsfolk had one peculiar tradition: the Festival of Entangled Choices. This was no ordinary gathering; it was a vibrant spectacle of misplaced aspirations and half-hearted resolutions. Merchants displayed wares advertised as "Guaranteed Needed" but universally rejected their practicality.

Proclamation from the Order of Unfortunate Decisions: "Today's meal will be a surprise; surprise us, for it is we who suffer."

The story follows Sir Elliot Never-Quite-Right, a knight determined to find the only sword that could slay the proverbial Dragon of Definitiveness. Unbeknownst to him, each swing of a different enchanted fork led our hero deeper into the forest of Commitment, where trees whispered decisions of the past that could have been, had future events not intervened oddly.

Meet Ailana Missed-Bus, famed for missing connections but never contacts. Despite fate’s tangled disposition, she carries the warmth of punctuality in her heart’s watch, aiming for the bus of opportunities arriving thirty minutes ago.

Ironically enough, the duo discovers that loitering by the crossroads is a valid adventure in itself—drawing maps and crossing off destinations not yet approached significantly influences one's perception of the influenced.
