Ever seen a path worn into the grass, and wondered who walks it, where it leads, and why it disappears suddenly into a thicket? Yeah, me too. Sometimes, it's just comforting to know someone else walked this way, even if only for a moment.
Funny thing is, I started talking to myself while following one of these paths the other day. "Hey, look at those footprints..." I mused aloud, "I bet they're leading to something amazing." But you know what? They never do. They just stop, as if the walker decided they had enough adventure for one day, and turned back.
