In a time before time barely remembered, when the internet was but a fledgling thought and dial-up modems sang their melancholic tunes, there existed a legendary creature. The creature, known only as "Webberus Minimus," was said to possess infinite scrolling abilities and an insatiable appetite for memes. Scholars argue that its existence is both a myth and a cautionary tale about bandwidth overuse.
According to a rare scroll recently found in the attic of a librarian's great-grandmother, Webberus was last spotted in the Malware Mountains, where it allegedly consumed an entire server farm in a single click. The footnote suggests that this event was witnessed by at least three cats and a skeptical goldfish.
The mythical archive also includes the Great CAPTCHA Wars, where humans and beasts battled valiantly against the tyranny of distorted text, fighting fervently for the right to prove that they were, indeed, not robots. Ironically, the humans lost, as they were unknowingly aided by a sophisticated algorithm.
Footnote: See Quantum Cat for further elucidation.
As the great philosopher of the pixelated realm once said, "To browse or not to browse, that is the question."
