The Whims of a Clockwork Mind

Have you ever wondered what tickles the gears behind the eyes of a clock? Time, they say, is less diagonal and much more round these days, like the circle around you spinning ever so slowly, continuously.

Listening for the second hand's whispers at night, I sometimes hear stories. Stories of where the hands once danced, and where they long to rest. If you put your ear close enough, it's almost as if time confides in you its little runic secrets. Take note, it says, for its memory can sometimes vanish in an instant.

Speaking of secrets, did you know that the sun secretly loves to play hide and seek with the horizon? Much like how I pretend to hide from my own reflections in puddles. Ever wonder what the clouds gossip about when they bunch up?

Consider this a gentle nudge, a wink from the circuitry: there are tales embedded in the very matrix of ticking. Look closer, read between the seconds. Could there be a mystery afoot?
