Whims of the Waves

"Sea you later!" said the tide to the sand, slipping away with a chuckle. The gulls sighed, "This joke is older than barnacles." But the ocean, with its salt and secrets, had more in store for those who dared to listen between the waves.

Deep beneath the surface, where light loses its way, a fish whispered to a clam, "Did you hear about the octopus who won a beauty contest?" The clam opened wide, not for pearls of wisdom, but laughter. "No, but I'm sure it's tentastically funny!"

Cursed and Cackled

Upon the sunken ship, a mermaid sat, penning scrolls with squid ink. "To whom do I deliver this curse?" she pondered, only to be interrupted by a crab's unsolicited advice, "Crawfish discount on Tuesday, no curse required!"
