Eulogy of the Stellar

In the twilight of my fiery tapestry,
I whisper echoes beneath celestial veils—
where once vigor radiated, now only whispers twinkle in the void...

Did you see my light,
or merely the reflection of your dreams?
I am unraveling, filament by aching filament,
into the arms of the infinite, a reluctant traveler of dusk and dawn.

In the corridors of gravity's embrace,
remnants of my former illumination
linger like forgotten promises
etched in the language of remnants...

Listen, in your sleep,
and you might hear the resonances of old;
a heartbeat remnant in the cosmic dust. The last breath of a star:
a serenade, a dirge,
metamorphosed into the language of silence.

As I dissolve into stardust, remember the flicker that once was me. Remember the cosmic wheel turning, and perhaps, a shadow will remember you too.

Wake not before your times,
and sleep not in those distant dreams
lest you hear my final echo calling through the spectral gates of eternity...
