The Era of Spectral Kings
In an age lost to the layers of visible dust and invisible time, the Spectral Kings ruled with a feather's touch and a whisper's echo. Their thrones were built on clouds and their crowns spun from the echoes of yesterday's dreams.
Their laws were painted with invisible ink—a code only visible to the blind and the sleeping. It was said that to understand their wisdom, one must first unlearn the art of seeing.
The Great Unseen War
Fought in shadows and between breaths, the Great Unseen War was a series of battles fought over the control of the intangible and the disregarded. Nations rose and fell over maps written on air, and peace was declared with the flipping of an empty coin.
Heroic tales were told of those who valiantly marched against the wind, armed only with the fortitude to trespass beyond the palpable.
Holy Relics of Irony
The Church of the Perpetual Maybe sanctified the relics of this age—most notably, the Sacred Book of Maybe, which contained every answer to every question that had never been asked. Pilgrims journeyed far to touch its spine, wrapped as it was in layers of profound absence.
