Whispers of the Fading Sun

Once upon a time, in a big dark sky, there was a star named
Twinkle. She was old and wise,
with light so bright it tickled the moon.

"I will share my last wishes," she whispered, her voice
softer than feathers, "to the little ears in the night."

The stars listened closely, some shedding tiny sparkles,
"Be kind, be brave," she sang, "Chase the shadows away."

"When I vanish, you must remember," Twinkle continued,
"that each beam of light is a hug from me, a gentle smile."

The sky promised, holding the star's words like
precious candies in tiny hands. "We will try," they said.
"We will share your story."

And when Twinkle's time came, her last glow was
like a birthday cake candle's flicker, warm and sweet.

The night told the tale, through its ever-changing
tapestry, woven with threads of dreams and laughter.
