The digression began where all significant digressions do: a forgotten corner of the mind, overrun by beep and distraction.
Here, buried beneath the apple pies of yesterday, lies a reverie - intense, engaging,
and entirely out of order.
"I must remember to forget," thinks the busy procrastinator, as dazzling trivia dances outside the window of opportunity.
It's astonishing that the decisions of the century lie so easily upon the kitchen table, sandwiched between toast and lingering aspirations.
Perhaps revisiting the malaise of progress will yield the results we never sought. For want of a thought—oh, for want of a browser tab.
Sit, dwell, and remember: the curiosity of the cat, once unboxed, leads only to unsolicited malware advice.
