The Timebound Paradox

"Consider the pebble," mused an unnamed elder, his voice hazed by the smoke of forgotten fires. "It rests not in its place, for it is not aware, even as the river recalls its song."

An enigmatic lullabye, emanating from shadows unseen, asks, "Do you remember the dream you had before the dawn decided your fate?"

"To grasp the infinite," a voice whispers, "is to sip the ocean from a solitary shell. Remember, the paradox sings neither for you nor against you."
