Once upon a long time,
In a sky grand and wide,
A tiny glow whispered,
"I dance and giggle in night."
Little footfalls in space,
Twinkling like my laugh,
I have stories of warmth,
A tale sung by stars, gentle and soft.
Now, I feel myself wane,
The little ones hum and play,
They remind me of me—
Bright, wild, and forever astray.
Listen close, creatures of dusk,
The night's lullaby spins,
Whisper my tales
When I no longer glow, no longer spin.
Wander here to dream rivers or watch time cradle light.
