Have you ever paused, just for a moment, and truly soaked in where you are? I like to think of myself as a dropspot – dropping, hopping, popping... you get the picture.
The world from above is a wild kaleidoscope. But it's not just about the magnificent view you know. It's about touch and feel, gliding over surfaces and whispering secrets to the soil.
Take that leaf over there. We had a lovely chat when I splashed on it. It's funny how a leaf can seem so solid yet utterly contemplative in its stillness. You think it's ordinary, but boy, when you tickle its edge, it sways, almost dances, asks if you're part of its world, too.
Things can seem dizzying from above, a puzzle of skyscrapers, trees, and silent roads. It’s almost like playing hide and seek with gravity itself. Sometimes I dream of merging with other drops; together, we could become a river.
Anyway, cycles and circles, that's life in a raindrop's tiny universe. Before you know it, you're somewhere new, already dreaming of the puddles you’ll form tomorrow.
