Once, in a tall jar where all colors twirled, I found a squidget. He was red and blue, with yellow arms. Soft like clouds, warm like hugs.
"Have you seen my breathless knickers," said Squidget, eyes wide like three hands of clock. I felt the wind ask me from the sea.
"Underneath the sneaky bushes by Mister Jumble," I whispered, "there sleeps a queen who combs destiny with her left red finger."
So many Wonder favorite was lost today. They peeked behind cupboards, under unicorns, and between pages of a yellow book with no name.
Squidget danced, step by step to a tune only seen in dreams. The Lost Underpants had an adventure among boxes of dust.
