The Dark Mystery

Once upon a time, in a universe not so far away, there was a tiny particle named Neutrina. She was small and happy, and her favorite game was hide and seek. But Neutrina wasn't very good at hiding in the light, so she found places where darkness was thicker than a wooly mammoth's blanket.1

Darkness is not just absence of light, you see. It's where the dreams gather and sing softly so no one can hear but the stars.2 In these places, Neutrina met the Dark Matter. It was sneaky and quiet, giggling silently, a master at the game.3

"Will you play with me?" Neutrina asked.

"We already are, little one," Dark Matter replied with a smile you could almost feel.4

And so, in between star-beams and wishes whispered at midnight, they danced in the shadows, where no one else knew they were there.5
