The Lamp That Flickers in Neverland

When the bright one is shy,
It whispers to the dark, “Come play”.
Shadows and lights, they peek
Around the lampless corner, waiting to twirl.

This light jumps up, down,
Like a little frog in a big pond.
“I’m not scared of night,” it chirps,
“In fact, I’m the best friend the night ever had.”

Moving, moving, always moving,
The light learns to dance with the silent stars above.
And with each flicker, it giggles,
"Together we are bright and dim, but always home.”
