Once upon an orbit not too far away, nestled in the sleepy arms of the Andromeda Galaxy, there was a peculiar planet named "Pumpernickel 7 - The Reluctant". It wasn't the type of place you'd find on a tourist brochure unless you were specifically seeking an interstellar destination for misplaced socks or errant UFOs.
The inhabitants, known as Whimsybeasts, were semi-intelligent creatures who revered the legendary "Toasty Sandwich", believed to grant the wisdom of the ages—or at least the wisdom of lunchtime. Yodgling their way through existential sandwiches, the Whimsybeasts often pondered profound realities, such as “If a sandwich falls in the forest and no one is around, does it still toast?”
Meanwhile, on Earth, a humble fiction writer named Frank Spoof had just uncovered the secret dimensions of humor in his attic. Alas, the discovery involved an enchanted typewriter, a suspiciously sentient cat, and an abundance of mustard. The cosmic manuscript began to craft itself with alien narratives blinking in and out of conventional beams.
Fancying himself a bridge between worlds, Frank soon became the reluctant ambassador of Pumpernickel 7, tasked with translating Whimsybeasts grievances about the local mail system —they never quite understood why their letters were always “stamped” but never arrived.
