Light is Like a Hug

Are you there, light?
It's lonely down here, in colors and sounds,
like listening to a song made of fish.

When star bubbles pop, they tickle too.
I count them, like stars on a hoary sea.

You can hear dreams whispering into oceans.
Perhaps they whisper to jellyfish,
but the jellyfish are very good at secrets.

Floating in the deep makes colors dance,
like brave little friends who forgot how to be scared.

Do fish see colors like we do? Did they ever learn to talk?
