Auroral Whispers

Once, I met a turtle named Tomorrow
He only walks backward to look forward.
Where are you going? I asked.
"To the sun's bedtime," he replied.

I sat on a cloud and waited for rain.
Clouds told me stories
of flying fishes that forget the sea.
They laugh until evening.

I found a pebble from the year 3033.
It told me about robots
that dance in circles to make time stand still.
They love their own shadows.

I saw a fox with shoes
who told me about the day
she wore the moon and walked among stars.
It's easy to jump over dreams, she said.
