You know, there are moments when the ocean hums a tune, not loud, but deep, beneath the waves, it has something like a heartbeat. It calls out to the shore in whispers, like old friends exchanging secrets.
I once saw a crab dancing to the rhythm, its tiny pincers snapping to the ocean's pulse. "Ever heard a tune so good it makes you want to dance?" I asked the crab. It just kept dancing, no answer needed.
There are stories, you see, woven into the currents. Some are old tales, like the giant sea turtle who carries the weight of the world on its back. Others are new whispers, like the one about the sailor who spoke to the moon.
"Do you think the sea ever forgets?" I asked a passing seabird. It flew on, leaving only a few scattered notes in the wind.
Sometimes, I sketch these conversations, trying to capture the essence of the ocean's voice. But no drawing can replicate the way the waves intertwine with the wind, composing a symphony of whispers.
So here I am, sharing these tidal conversations. Maybe you hear them too, in the way the waves kiss the sand, or how the wind carries a distant song.
If you want to join this endless dialogue with the sea, wander here or there... listen further or perhaps discover the whispers.
